I was in east Texas yesterday. I have to admit, those post oak trees were kinda nice to look at. Glad to be home where I can see though. And why the hell does anyone live in DFW?

I don't know why anyone would live in DFW when you could live in beautiful Blum on the Nolan River!!!!

I hope everyone's Christmas was blessed and that your New Year is starting out strong. If any of you like good books, I'd recommend William Gilmore Simms' "The Golden Christmas," as a way to point out a lot of things we miss with our modern celebrations (some good, some bad).
