WTH is Swype?

you enable it on smartphones and just approximate the letters....the phone intuitiveley reads your intent and enters the correct word..............

Kind of like autocorrect on steroids?

I tried Swype for a while, but it really annoyed the heck out of me, so i went back to the "tried and failed" method of one lettering it. Now, if I got anything useless to say that is more than one or two words, I try to do it on my laptop.

I don't sound very smart in real life. Siri just laughs at me. Sadly, my limited typing skill is the most articulate form of communication I have.

There's always hand gestures, I guess. But I only know about four of them - and people generally don't respond positively to me when I use them. Then again, that's not much different than how people generally respond to what I type here - so....

Recently got an I-Pad with voice recognition to type what I speak. Someone at Apple forgot to load voice recognition for Texas Redneck in the thing. Shoulda seen the stuf it was putting on the page....

I got out of the iphone game on the day the 5 came out. Went with the HTC Evo something or other. Half the weight. Twice the screen size. Plus, there is no pretentious British chick talking back to me.
