New SixManFootball.com/Texas 1A Fan Partnership

Today I'm pleased to announced that SixManFootball.com has extended its partnership with Texas 1A Fan.

I'm sure most of y'all have probably seen the helmet stickers that Texas 1A Fan gives out at the games they cover. Well, starting this week, I'm partnering up with Texas 1A Fan so that each winner will receive two helmet stickers instead of one. Players will now receive a SixManFootball.com helmet sticker in addition to their Texas 1A Fan helmet sticker.

Additionally, I will also be handing out both helmet stickers to one player from each team at games that I attend each week.

Helmet sticker winners are decided based on the following criteria:
  • Leadership
  • Sportsmanship
  • Effort
  • Great Attitude
  • Good play on defense and/or offense

I've been in direct communication with Bobbie, aka Texas 1A Fan Lady, for at least a few years now. We communicate on an almost weekly basis (usually multiple times per week), especially during football season. I've also had the pleasure of meeting several of the other members of the Texas 1A Fan team. They're all outstanding people who all have a real passion for shining a light on Texas 1A teams and players. I couldn't be happier to be teaming up with them on this, and look forward to working with them for, Lord willing, many years to come!

To be fair, this was Bobbie's idea. I'd actually hit her up about the idea of me passing out my own helmet stickers. Since I knew it was kinda their thing, I wanted to ask for their permission. I got the vibe that she didn't like the idea so I just completely tossed the thought out. Evidently my vibe-o-meter is broken because later on she called me and hit me with this idea. Of course I thought it was a great idea, the rest of the Texas 1A Fan team agreed, and here we are.
 
Awesome collaboration for an incredible cause! The sixman kids and communities deserve the recognition. Seeing what Bobbie does with Texas 1A Fan for the kids is a tremendous undertaking and shows how passionate she is. Getting Craig Sperry on board with her is a huge addition. Now adding Mike more and more into the fold with the helmet sticker partnership and the wesp segment shows us that the interest is growing and people want to know about Sixman and 1A sports in Texas. I know I'm thousands of miles away, but Im honored to be able to talk to y'all about football and more. Mike has done wonders taking this site to a new level of excellence! 👏
