My Week 12 Top 10 Rankings

Mr. Leman how do you have GF over Follett when Follett has more quality wins against Happy, Valley and Crowell? I'm curious on your reasoning.

Plus GF lost a very close game to WV the first game of the season...WV also beat Follett in a very close game...GF had I think 5 turnovers and 3 of them were in the redzone. Giving the fact that those mistakes were made in week zero I don't think GF would make those mistakes again and therefore would beat WV if they played today...which Follett failed to do

All my personal opinion of course.

Makes sense now sir. It's inevitable that they will meet Follett in the Semi's. Can you give me a spread or is that too soon of a question?

Follett beat GF by 12points in the Semis last year...GF returned every single player off that team and Follett did not...

Add to all this that this group of kids for Grandfalls have been starting since they were freshman, they made the quarter-finals as sophomores, made the semi-finals as juniors...and building on that would be...making it to State as seniors...I feel they are a more rounded better team

All this adds up to #1 for me

I don't think experience will make that big of a difference cuz most, if not all, the seniors for Follett have started since their sophomore year and they've been more battle tested IMO. And Follett has more size that GF. Against small quick/fast teams like GF, size and running the ball down inside is their weakness and I believe Follett can do that. Follett's weakness is covering the deep pass and I don't think GF can take advantage of that weakness. I do believe in upsets but I don't see either team going down the next 2 games. I would have to say Follett by 8 on a late and long drive.

Kind of like your assessment that there was no way Garden City was better than Rankin. Leman, as far as the WV-GR game, it was WV's first game as well. Several replacements from the year before and trying to figure out where everyone belonged. Just to restate your point, Grandfalls returned everyone and took over where they left off in 12. Just don't add up to me, your giving one team an out for being first game? The team that wasn't making notable changes? OK. I did watch WV-GR and WV-Follett. I could add more but I will leave it at that.

Follett will beat Grandfalls-Royalty by 28.

All my personal opinion of course.

After a conversation I just had - I'm not all that sure Follett will have the chance to play GF-R.

Laugh if you must - but don't act all shocked if I'm proven right.

No laughing here, it's 6-man and you never know.

Who are you saying may pull the upset here? MC or Loraine?

I respect that, but I wasn't interested in your source.

Just kidding by the way, we will find out soon enough. The next few weeks will fly by and then the
withdrawals set in until August.

Don't remind me.

The Savoy win is a real shocker to me. I think it shows how different teams can react to inclement weather. It makes the game being played totally unpredictable.
