My over simplified rankings after week 5

I did answer your question. Crowell's rating is high because they 45'd a MC team with an injured player. PERIOD. That's the 3rd time I have said that. PAY ATTENTION!!

Now answer my question. What percentage of games did you get right with YOUR rating system?

Strawn was ranked higher than Gordon going into the second game that season. Both teams were 11-1 going into that quarter final game.

I said you had MC over-rated to begin with. So you're saying Crowell is 11 points better because you screwed up MC's rating? Well, at least admitting you screwed up is a start. You have the same problem with your computer that Pete does. Your starting point is all jacked up, and it has carried through each successive week.

Gordon must have lost to a lesser ranked team, and caused a drop in their power rating. I can understand that. But that has nothing to do with the situation at hand. Absolutely nothing. I'm not expecting you to understand the differences, but they are glaring.

What rating system? I''m supposed to have my own rating system before pointing out errors in yours? I must have missed that particular disclaimer.

If you think that the state champion will be ranked below 4 teams that they have beaten, regardless of who the state champion is, then you don't understand my ranking system at all. That would pretty much be impossible. Maybe you should try to understand it before you start finding fault with it.

And considering YOU said that a team that beats another team should be ranked higher. The Strawn Gordon example was a perfect example of why that is not true. Gordon beats Strawn, but strawn still had the higher rank, then Strawn beats Gordon. Even if Gordon had been ranked higher it still shows that your logic is faulty. If Gordon had been ranked higher, even though they beat strawn (kinda like valley beat crowell) and according to you, that proves who the better team is. Then how did strawn possibly beat Gordon in the playoffs?

You don't have a rating system? Well then by all means, complain all you want. It will carry about as much weight as the guy riding his bike to work laughing at the POS that just passed him. Or the homeless guy scoffing at the poor paint job on the house up the road.

The other day I saw a dog that hasn't been fed for three days laughing at the neighbors dog because his steak had dirt on it!

I'm sure all u guys with these ranking systems should be millionaires, everytime your systems are questioned y'all throw the ole I was right on 80 percent this week. Did you all realize there are only 32 teams in the NFL?? If these toys are picking 80 percent on 80 plus games every Friday with spreads from 1 to 45, then my logic says 15 games a week end with spreads from 1 to 14 1/2 should be easy to accomplish 80 percent. Now, I know a reputable book keeper that will take 5k on a strait bet and 500 on a parlay up to six teams which pays 40 to 1, may have to get rainjack to do the math, but 5k x 15 - 20 percent would be alot more worth my time than defending my sixman ranking system on a website. y'all should be laughing all the way to the bank instead of getting wound up about a few criticisms about your toy, or are you all afraid to put your money where your mouth is??

You're being treated no differently than Pete or Granger is treated. If it came down to ranking systems being the determinate of whether or not I got to eat - I'd have one. Only mine would work.

But since I can eat fresh steak whenever I want, and I've painted my own house, and I never ride a bike for any reason (not counting my little 125cc scooter) - I'll fill my time with hobbies that interest me.

Would it make you feel better if I were to post my training logs on here and let you make fun of my weak, old, crippled body? I mean fair is fair.

Slow down a little there hoss - you seem to be laboring under the conclusion we are trying to call each and every game perfect. Our correct percentage is if we picked the winner. If I pick a spread of 1 point and the team wins by 45 I got it right. For some reason you think we are picking winners, what I am doing is trying to mathematically rank the set of teams based on performance.

I don't really care what your issue is with the rankings, we do this because of our interest in 6-man ball. And if you think you can compare 6-man to pro ball you'er even more delusional than an outhouse rat.
