Just by looking at distance from Medina I would bet Rochelle (132 miles), Medina, Eden (132 miles), and Lometa (137 miles) would make up a district. A possibly 5th team could be Paint Rock at 153 miles and Veribest 168 miles.

If it is 70 teams in D1 plus one team wanting to move up then you have 71....divided by 16 Districts.....equals 9 districts with 4 teams and 7 districts with 5 teams....

Pop, they could throw in Campbell in district with Savoy, Fannindel, St. Jo, Tioga. That would thrill us to have a five team district. I don't know if UIL will think that out though. Also Irving Universal has a hearing with UIL, coming up. Don't know what this will bring to the mix either. I can't see them opening up the can of worms with the charter schools, but funny things happen.

I found that this is true. I quoted one local paper, but the Fannin County Leader and our coaches said that Fannindel would stay in D2.

Hey, just my guess.....

Maybe GC and WV could be together and have an annual bruising again. But I think the Bearkats will be stuck with the Far WT schools until they all go D2.
