I pray everyone was safe and sound. We only had small dime size hail and lots of broken limbs. How did everyone else do during this storm? Our sirens were blaring with the possibility of a tornado touching down in Aledo. I hope everyone is ok. Melani

It's here now,Raining and only small Hail [can i say that?] No sirens Yet!

Bad thing it knocked my TV out while i was watching the stars game...So Far i am safe

Thank goodness all is well in your part of town. My TV and internet went out. I saw pictures of a Toyota Car Lot and there were broken windshields. My son in Haltom City got golf ball size hail. No carports so theres lots of damage on his two trucks. The youngest son was on his way home from going to the gym. He made it right before the downpour. I like rain but the winds, hail and tornadoes can go away. My favorite grocery store was hit last year by a tornado so they closed it down because of too much damage.

No storms up here in Illinoisy, but I experienced my first earthquake this morning in the shower. I had been in the area for several over the years, but they always happened when I was asleep, and I'm very hard to wake up unless it's the radio alarm.

The quake was a 5.4 magnitude and centered about 200 miles to the SE. I was shaving when the bathroom started vibrating and the water coming out of the shower head moved up and down several times. It lasted for about 10-15 seconds.

Interesting experience.....

Shaving during a earthquake can be dangerous

I got these pics from another website.I was very lucky

Oh my word. The storm was horrible but I consider us lucky. The last storm that came around people in our neighborhood lost trees. We did a spring clean up around here. Then this Saturday we will be doing another one. I want rain rain rain. No hail, tornadoes, or high winds. I'm a big chicken.
