The Dawgs are having a great year.
But let's look into the numbers.

(8-1) - ✔️
D-2 Ranking - #4 ✔️
OA Ranking - #8 ✔️
Offense Avg. - 53 ✔️
Defense Avg. - 23 ✖️

Lost to Jonesboro - ✖️

Give up 32 points to Wylie - ✖️
Give up 56 points to GC - ✖️
Give up 50 points to Oakwood - ✖️

The Jonesboro team they lost to gave up 46 to a Zephyr team - ✖️

So they definitely have the athletes and offense to score at will.
But the big problem right now, is the defense.
But that could change once the playoffs start.

Jonesboro - The loss to jonesboro was in week, and they played with out there senior WR/Qb/DE who starts on both sides of the ball and is one of there best players. And they still had multiple chances to win in the 4th quarter.

Wylie Prep - defensively gave up big plays the entire 1st half, and gave up 0 points in the second half.

Garden City - Looked extremly tired and worn out by the no huddle hurry up offense. gave up 40 points in the first half. Made great Adjustments and only gave up 16 points in the second half. Best win of the season.

Oakwood - Played with out there two most dominant defensive players (#24) and (#4) both with over 100 tackles. Several players got banged up in the game. Alot of backups played alot of big minutes. and they still scored at will.

Yes, sometimes this team gets bored with defense but when they are focused and health I have yet to see a team consistently move the ball on them. If they can eliminate the big plays there defense can hang tough.

Offensively- There probably the fastest team in the state this year and they can score at will!

They have there eyes set on AT&T stadium, if they can get healthy nothing will stop them.
 
They can't stop the spread. But with the athletes that they have, they might not need too. #1 Taron Smith makes big plays against anyone he plays. No one has stopped him for the last two years. With him, and they guys they have around him Milford is definitely ready to make a title run.
 
They give up 23 points a game and that's bad? There defense is really underrated.
I don't think anyone is exaggerating about there offense. When there healthy and all playing they score in bunches!
 
In the Jonesboro game the eagles lost there number one running back early in the second quarter, so both teams were missing there star player. So make no excuses about the loss, it was a great game but the eagles prevailed.

They had him for two quaters... Milfords guy didn't play at all.
 
One of Jonesboro better RB's and defense players got hurt at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. The other good RB was sick. Before he got hurt (beginning on 2nd Quarter) they were running on all 8 cylinders and would have 45"d Milford before the end of the 3rd quarter.

You are out of your mind if you think Milford would have gotten 45'ed
 
Honestly Milford gave the game away to Jonesboro in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes or so left on the clock when we didnt score on the 1yd line.... Any team better not underestimate them on any day... These players are tired of being underestimatef on big games and will come ready to play against whoever
 
(And they still had multiple chances to win in the 4th quarter.)........ Were you even there! Neither team scored in the 3rd quarter and in the 4th #26 from Jonesboro got 2 running TD's. If Milford would have gave up on the big throwing plays it may have been a different output. Milford has a lot of talent and will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.
 
Of course I was there.... And like on any game one series can be a momentum changer... That was the one when Milford didnt score.... Then gave up 2 quick td's....
 
Offensive: 2016.... Defensive..... Hard to say, they lost some key players last yr but they seem to be coming around pretty good.
 
Richland will hit Milford in the mouth! If they get up, and keep getting up, Richland will be in for a long night. But if Milfors lies down for the coyotes then RS rolls on to back to back state Titles. Regardless Milford VS Richland springs will be the state championship game.

Richland will not hit you in the mouth! They don't play dirty.
Also, please quit using the word "IF".
