okay -- anyone wanna play this game on Round 2.

I see two games being excellent games -- Freddy Heritage vs El Paso Jesus Chapel. I wonder if this is the first time these two have met? I'm going with Freddy here, but wouldn't be suprised if Jesus Chapel comes out of the contest as the winner.

Lifegate vs NCTA is also going to be a barn-burner. 11-0 vs 10-1. I got a favorite, but I'm not making a pick.

Notre Dame vs Heath Fulton. Fulton isn't bad, but Notre Dame is #1 in two polls, BCS and Granger.

Brazosport vs Orange Community. Orange won the first time, 79-59, but Act II doesn't always duplicate Act I. My gut says Orange, but it could go either way.

I just started a round 2 thread. Our predictions sound pretty similar.

Fredricksburg Heritage 66. COACH SHIP AND JEREMY enough said Texas.
Jesus Chapel 12- ONE STUD ATHLETE WHO I FOLLOW.

WF Notre Dame 8-0 GAME OF THE YEAR!!!! GOOD TEAM WIth TWO GOOD BACKs IN #25 & #20. 51-46 Notre Dame

Heath Fulton 9-2. Very soft tackling team!!! Tough schedule. Coach is a winner and proven that at several stops, but may struggle against a playoff test.

NCTA- 52 #3, #6, #18, #1 good athletes.
Lifegate- 42
#27 is a stud, but he met his match.

Orange-45 Good back should put them over the top.
Lake Jackson-32

not a chance that Lifegate gives up 50+ points. Their defense is too good.
My picks for this weekend is:
Freddy, Notre Dame, Lifegate, and Orange.
Finals: Notre Dame vs Lifegate.
Champion:
I will make my pick later.

Seguin Lifegate vs. Granbury NCTA should be very telling. I'm very interested in how the North and the South compare! Well, all the games should be compelling - it's going to be a fun weekend! Lets pray for 0 injuries.

Slappy. I like your style. It should be fun. I'm NOT responding to coaches that post on here about team winning.

Slappy will it hurt teams that haven't played a playoff game in a week? Like Jesus Chapel and Notre Dame

Notre Dame's been sitting since week week 9 (WF Christ Academy was supposed to be the week 10 game - no team this year). Plainview Christian was down to 5 players, so no game week 11 - the boys are going stir crazy! The coaches did a good job relaxing then building back up to a game day routine. The forfeited games wouldn't have been much to watch so it's hard to tell if the break hurts or helps, but now the coaches, players, and parents are ready for some football. Bring it!

Jesus Chaple is more than a one horse pony. will be suprised if they do not make it to Championship.

Jesus Chapel was my early season pick for the top half of the finals; they will have a murders row to go through defending champion Fredericksburg Heritage and then probably Wichita Falls Notre Dame to make the finals.

And if they do, it would not be an easy contest for their opponent.

I doubt any of their current or potential opponents are taking them lightly.

My picks are Freddy by 30

Norte dame by 45

Lifegate by 45

Orange by 16

Lifegate handled a very good Freddy team and had several opportunities to 45 them.. This team is the real deal... Won't see the game today but I will be beyond shocked if this game is even close...

Heath Fulton has a great coach... And they will put up a couple scores... But Norte dame is just too darn good.. Might go past the half but I don't see four quarters in Fultons future..

Okay, down to four ...

Fredericksburg Heritage (10-2) vs Wichita Falls Notre Dame Catholic (9-0)

Seguin Lifegate Christian (12-0) vs Orange Community Christian (10-2)

Start a guessing, guys ...

I haven't been posting these, but I was kinda proud of this. Had to do the stats while eating dinner (Rudy's in Waco has a nice prime rib on weekends, by the way ... and the creamed corn always is my favorite) and got my dear, beloved wife to drive while I typed the story on my blackberry ... finished it by Austin, about 10pm and emailed it to the sports editor.

Who made it look in print a whole lot better than I wrote it and on the website at midnight.

Thanks, Tucker!
