Law Enforcement Appreciation

Us rural Six-Man families/schools are the "glue" & "common sense" of America!
We are the highest majority that still teaches our kids respect and honor!

I challenge every Six-Man team through your school, Booster Club, Civic Group,
or Parent Group to organize a time (15 minutes) before a game this season or at halftime to
invite your local Law Enforcement (active & retired) to a home game and show your support and acknowledge them! Let them know that we in "Six-Man Rural America" have there back & SUPPORT!

Has any Six-Man schools already done this and how many of you plan to do this?
Let's make it a clean sweep across Texas!

We did this here in Hedley a couple weeks ago during our Homecoming. We had our local first responders (Highway Patrol, EMS, Volunteer Fire Department, and local Sheriff) walk out as honorary captains, hand-in-hand with the team captains for the coin toss. The crowd loved it, as did the first responders in attendance and those walking. I even made sure to make each one one of my players shake their hands individually and thank them for what they do for us.

Gordon had a "back the blue" day. Everyone wore blue and they invited local law enforcement to be recognized at the pep rally and game.

Crowell has it in the works for our last home game.

The guys and gals in these smaller towns need the recognition for what they do. I know our VFD crew is top notch and we would be lost without them. There is so much more to it than just squirting water on a fire!! Law enforcement and EMT crew do a wonderful job also.

It takes a Village!!!
