Introductions

I'm new to SixManFootball.com and just wanted to intoduce myself and get to know who's out there.
I posted this under DII because that's what I played and I figured I may know some people.

I'm Dixon Pattillo, I played 4 years for Fredericksburg Heritage, aiding in a 2011 state title and a 2012 state runner-up to our brothers over at Seguin Lifegate. I graduated in 2013 and I am currently at the United States Military Academy at West Point. I created an account here because I sorely miss my 6 man and am attempting to keep up with it. Here at West Point I have extended my football career playing Army Sprint Football. We recently won the CSFL Championship (that's back-to-back's!) with our final victory over the U.S. Naval Academy.

How are things going up in New York State? Bet it's cold. My brother used to help out with the pistol teams over at Annapolis on weekends. He was stationed at ft Meade. Good luck in your career. Thanks for your service.

God Bless You for your service in the Military. I'm not anybody but love lots of friendly people on this site. I'm sure the guys and Coach's will give you a hand or answer any of your questions. Welcome back to sixman foobtall.

Welcome to the board Dixon. Glad you are still following real football. Hopefully you will continue to get the opportunity to show Sprint what 6 Man and Freddy Football are all about: Hupomone! Thanks for your service to our Country!

Thanks for serving this great country. I appreciate your courage, commitment and dedication.

If I am correct, the CSFL is the equivalent of the National Championship for college football. Congratulations on a Texas state championship and now a National Championship. Even RG3 and Johnny Manziel can't claim either one of those. :-)

Sprint Football was limited to 167 pounds in the old days - what are the parameters today? I do remember it was as exciting as 6 man football.

Hope your former Freddy teammates keep rolling.

Go Army! Beat Navy!

Hey Dixon,
Coach Akin from Lifegate. Man, I missed you this year, never coached in a Lifegate/Freddy game you weren't in! Whew, you missed a good one a couple of weeks ago. "Good" in the sense it was a well-played football game on both sides. Tough, tough defense by both teams. Didn't know you were at WooPoo. Very happy for you and I know that this year is very challenging for you. I hope it is going well. Shoot me your email and I'll catch up with you on some other stuff.
Coach Akin

@6man4me - The weight limit back in the old days used to be 150lbs, but nowadays we have to make 172lbs. And technically it is a National Championship, but with only eight teams it's nothing to brag about.

@Clairatt19 - I heard about the Freddy/Lifegate game. I would've loved to have been there. Thankfully, I get to go home for 3 days this Thanksgiving, and am going to the Freddy/Granbury semifinals. I cannot wait!
I'll shoot you a PM with my email, Sir.

Very Respectfully,
Dixon Pattillo
