Impressive Performance by a Freshman

In McKinney Cornerstone's game this past Friday night against Wylie Prep, Cornerstone Christian Freshman Jackie Morgan had an amazing offensive performance. Here are the highlights:

25 carries for 312 yards and 8 rushing TDs
2 receptions for 74 yards and 1 receiving TD
6 Kick Returns for 176 yards
1 19-yard TD Pass

That's 562 Total Yards and accounted for 10 TDs (9 scored himself) as a Freshman.

He also added 7 tackles on defense

It will be exciting to watch him as gets older. Congratulations Jackie on an amazing performance!

Unfortunately, no. It was a shoot-out. 94-78. Was back and forth the entire game. Wylie went up by 2 scores with only about 1 minute left.

Jackie ended up being recognized on Max Preps/USA Football as the Southwest Region Player of the Week for October 10-16.
