Immanuel, EP: Back 2 Back Champs

The varsity boys from Immanuel Christian School won the TCAF boys' state championshipfor the second consecutive year last Saturday (2/23) when they defeated Faith Christian 59- 52 in Waxahachie, Tx.

The Warriors had lost two starters to disciplinary problems just 4 school days prior to the start of the final state tourny ( ), but the heart and desire of the remaining starters carried the team to its best performance of the year and another state championship. :lol:

Kudos to Coach Frazier and the Warriors!! 8)

Congrats on the TCAF title.

Could you confirm that El Paso Faith boys and girls will also be playing in the T-CAL tournament March 6-8 in San Angelo ... the T-CAL website shows El Paso Faith also competing in that league.

It could be an error ... just curious?!?

I remember a couple years ago seeing the Immanuel team playing at the Bulverde Bracken Christmas tournament ... you had a great shooting guard, a red-haired Italian kid by the name of O'Leary ...

And I joked that any kid like that who wasn't playing at Notre Dame Catholic H.S. should be considered as illegal recruiting ... he sure was a good player ...
