How many wish this election were over?

Hey another question? What time do you think the elections going to be over? Flipping back and forth to MSNBC, CNN and Fox News is killing my hand.

Obama won the mock election we had at Lee Middle School here in San Angelo.

In Fort Worth one day the kids were for Obama then the next day McCain. I asked my granddaughter which one was going to win and she said one of them. Boy did I ever get educated. She's only 9, the little smart hinney.

We just elected a pure liberal socialist for President. May God have mercy on the USA........

You know that I will probably lose a lot of popularity in Texas for my thoughts but in Praying last night God showed me a simple like song. Jesus Loves Me. This little song has been handed down genration to generation. If we believe Jesus loves all children then that means yellow black and white we are precious in his sight Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I was one to vote for McCain and I was disappointed in his loss, but I had to step back and say hey I prayed about God's Will being done. I prayed he chose the leader of our country. So I couldn't get too upset. I asked his will and I believe he did what he wanted to do.

I for one am going to give our president a chance to lead our country out of this crisis. My prayers are that Barack Obama will follow God's guidence. None of us know the outcome but we know that if we trust and have faith in God he will see us through. If we unite as one we will be unstoppable but if we fight Obama like so many fought Bush we will stay right where we are. I know I'm not going to gain any popularity in this post, But I fought God's thoughts in my head all morning and I for one will obey him. America is the greatest country in the world so I pray it becomes even greater.

Whenever I get to wrapped up in what's going on in our country I am reminded of Isaiah 6. After a popular leader died Isaiah was taken to heaven and reminded that God was still on His throne. Melani, thanks for reminding us to continue to pray for our leaders. As bad as I think Obama is for our country he will still be our president. And his picture will replace the one of President Bush on my classroom wall. I will pray for him just as I prayed for President Bush.

Thank you Mustang. It's sometimes hard to obey the Lord because you don't want to offend anyone. but yesterday the message came over and over in my mind. I have never wanted to push anyones buttons. But our Lord tells us to follow our leader and that means whether we like him or not. If we allow God to be in our lives everyday then times will be ok for us. He never leaves us or forsakes us. I know a lot of people have fear and some think he can change the world, but we know the truth, Only Jesus can do that. For me I asked God's Will and he chose Obama. I trust Jesus's decision and will do all I can as an American to do all I can do. Thank you for your response. I was afraid all would hate me but I knew I had to do as God instructed.
