Well excuse me!!

I was just wondering what it's like since i [we] hadn't been in 10 months..

Hopefully you can get you're dove lease and have one of the local's grill you're dove's while you droul while watching the Cowboy cheerleader's or Mr .Walt Cowboy...Hico is Cool!!! Still hope to play a doubleheader playoff game there friday after Thanksgiving??

What do you say jimedferguson? Playoff doubleheader..

jimedferguson,You promote week zero,Head's Up! Playoff Double Header--Day after Thanksgiving--

My brother Mike and I started this event five years ago. First year, we had only three games. Then, we added a fourth the second and third years. Last year was the first time, we had five games in one day. It was nothing but six-man football action from 11 a.m, til about 11 p.m.

We've got great teams coming in. If I am not mistaken we have 5 of the top 11 schools playing this year. check out the website. www.hicosupersix.com

We'll have live music in the evening.

If you shoot a dove or two, look me up at the stadium, Jim Ferguson, and I'll make sure we grill it for you....

There's a couple of good places to eat...the Koffee Kup Family Restaurant is famous for its pies, Lilly's has good Mexican food, Texas Trails serves a great hamburger (ask for it on a sour dough bun). But, Jerry Gilliland will be grilling burgers at the stadium. He's a legend! He's been cooking for about 30 years every Friday night. The Stone Slab creamery is coming over from Stephenville. If you are heading through Stephenville, stop at Montana's across from Tarleton and get the cheese fries.

Also, we are admitting coaches, players and students from all six-man schools FREE. Just show an ID.

Each year this event has gotten bigger and better.

You might want to talk to Rod Townsend, Hico supt., about a double-header. Hico is a great place to for a playoff game

Great job,Jim,The Hico event is one that i look forward to every year,Saw my only sixman overtime game in Hico a few years back,Seems every year it's very hot, then it cools off by rain...Elmo there you go,the Man says you can get you're road kill grilled..

Talking about Food,You are correct,Many fine place's to eat in Hico,Jeresy's has a large screen, that you can watch a college game while enjoying you're meal...

Been a great five years Jim,Looking forward to many more..

On the playoff doubleheader,I do understand that the coach's must agree, but think about it,You would have the final four teams from the East, that way fans could see the top from school's from the East,,Only makes sense with the price of Gas.plus the school's could scout each other

What do you think people?
