Here is the lineup for this year's 12th Annual Six-Man Super Saturday, set for August 29th at Tiger Stadium.

11 am -- Water Valley v. Happy
1:30 pm -- Walnut Springs v. Leuders-Avoca
4 pm -- Aquilla v. Dallas Academy
6:30 pm -- Blum v. Strawn
(the first team listed will be the home team)

These are all the same teams as last year....

HIco usually will sign a school for two years. If they didn't, not many schools would sign knowing in a non-alignment year they would be looking for a week 1 game. That could be hard to come by.

these are pretty good match up as well......
Water Valley and Happy strapping it on,
Walnut Springs will be TOO much for Leuders Avoca,
Still scratching my head on Dallas Academy, but they are there and Aquilla will take this one,
AND THEN THE MAIN EVENT......

Blum and Strawn... Don't know alot about either but this could be a good'un.....Blum in an exciting close one.... Don't see Strawn being like Crowell.

Most of these teams graduated a lot!. Water Valley will not be as strong early in the season as in years past. Strawn graduated in the neighborhood of 10 varsity players, they will have at least two good athletes returning. Walnut has their SB returning, if they can find some defense, they might be pretty good early on. Aquilla graduated their "hoss" rb, the rest of the team looked average in comparison.

Most of these schools have good programs in place, with all of the holes in their lineups that they will have to fill, they will be better toward the end of the year than in the first game.

Walnut will not be too much for Lueders, I see Lueders beating them by 20. And these are the same teams but different matchups with a few, should be interesting.
