it doesn't really matter... Nebraska fans need to understand that the run that they had from Devaney (sp) through Osborne will never return. Played against players who went there, graduated with one who went through the walk-on program... I hate Nebraska, but respect 'em.

In today's college landscape, everyone has down years - Pelini is a good hire, but don't expect the dominance of the Osborne era to return - that's just how it is.

A good Nebraska and a good Colorado is good for the Big XII and college football.

It would be great for that Nebraska vs. Colorado day-after-Thanksgiving game to be relevant to a conference or national championship again. I think Pelini is the right guy for the job, but it will take time to build it back up and undo 4 years of futility.

I agree that the Big 12 is way to competitive for any one team to dominate year after year...you could make a case for Oklahoma but they've only ran the table in conference play AND won the title game twice since its inception.
