They never quit. They were within 9 of being 45'd midway through the 4th quarter. They had to realize that pulling it out at that point was if not impossible, pretty improbable. They could have folded but they didn't, they came back and scored and kept playing until the end.

Yup. They showed no signs of quitting. They kept playing hard even knowing they were not gonna win. I think thats all that matters in the end. They may not be State Champions but their still winners.

Keep a lookout for them in the following years. They lose 7 Seniors this year but are loaded with a bunch of Freshman who just got some State title game experience.
