Could be why I'm a spectator and not a coach but if I was the coach I'd never have my kids kneel. They'd all stand in a line with their helmets off like for the National Anthem or they'd huddle up and say a prayer for the injured kid. This way they have full mobility to rock back and forth or whatever they need to do to keep loose and as warmed up as possible. Kneeling especially for a long time after being fully active can cause stiffness that's not needed in a football game especially when it's freezing cold outside.
If all you had to call a coach classless is cause his players didn't kneel during a very small moment in a game then you're just reaching. Probably mostly just you upset because you got smacked in a game you actually thought you could win.
