In 2012 the  Throckmorton Greyhounds led by Coach Mike Reed played Water Valley beating them 62-16. Both teams

were 11-0 and it was the area round of the playoffs. I knew most of the WV kids very well being friends with the parents. After the game I was shocked, they were upset yes but not disheartened, they held heads high and acknowledged they came up against a monster of a team. One WV kid said that they were just better and really strong and physical. Another kid said ya they just whipped us but they were classy always lending a hand to assist up after a big hit and complimented when they made a nice move or a big play, which were few. The handshake line…..WV players left feeling fairly good after several Greyhound players told them y’all were the best team we played this year and really good. That after beating the tar out of them. The entire point of my TRUE story is that the above discussion doesn’t sound like a Mike Reed team to me. I am startin see on this sight just how pitiful some people are when their team gets beat.
