We've looked good this last week in practice. It hurts that our one returning starter and point guard is sitting on the side in a boot, but we've got other kids ready to step up. We're big 6 over 6' and fairly fast - the biggest thing is going to be adjusting to new roles - no Taylor and Evan to bail us out. But we've got kids with the skills to be the leaders, they just have to do it. When we learn and accept our roles we will be tough.
Potentially we could be pretty good - I think we can be competitive in district and i think we should have a good shot to make the playoffs. After that, anything can happen (as last year proved...)
We play Monahans tonight and Borden Co tomorow, so we'll know a little bit more by Thanksgiving.
