no from Fox studios with the stadium feeds again...

Interesting story on the fact that ESPN is using this today. It is more common than you think

http://www.espn.com/blog/ombudsman/...rent-as-it-experiments-with-remote-broadcasts

On behalf of JO "Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". Does Fox not realize that anything you look at out there is unequal to the view from the press box of Jerry's Stadium TV? Still no need to watch the game on the field, much bigger than life, in your face. It's all blown up way more than on a monitor elsewhere. Of course, Technology Trumps.

Apologies for sarcasm Guru. I'd like to be there to watch the games in person myself.
I'll be watching most of them on line other than the time during them it takes me to get home from work.
Thanks to you in a large part, and technology.

Isn't it great that Fox Sports considers six man football to be the red headed stepchild of the family. If they would just try broadcasting it like the eleven man games, they might be pleasantly surprised. They probably have something much more interesting to show on Wednesday evening like the national tiddlywinks championship.

I looked ahead to Wednesday on my dish guide.... all they are showing during the time frame of the six man games is reruns of old 11 man state games!

Putting the sixman games on tee vee might scramble the psyche of their target viewers. I can imagine rabid sports fans in New York City and elsewhere sittin in the recliner scrolling through the evening sports thinking 'Huh? Six Man What?'. Must be some kind of amateur or pee wee thing.
Realization that it has a history going way back before the internet and that it has real Coaches who actually support their families by getting paid by Public and Private schools could short circuit some of their brains.
Then again, more realistically, a few might actually click to look out of curiosity. Just a few of them might keep watching a few minutes at least. After all, curiosity killed the cat.

I would be willing to wager that a whole lot more than just a few would watch the entire game, if it were only put out there on television.

I would bet the reason the television networks shy away from six man is the mercy rule. What happens when your blocked for 2 hours and the game is over in an hour. I hate that were not televised but I think I understand the reason.

I try to come here for football in part to get away from politics. No comments pro or con on this article. But I feel the need to share this news with people I commiserate with because it affects us all.

Not to make light of the situation in any shape form or fashion but Really (what's going on in this crazy world?)

Ok, 2 days till state. With 2600 views this is the hottest thread by far on the site in the last week.
But not many comments. With no talk about the games I wonder if the hits are related to sixman football or the Rolling Stones. They do have a new blues album out. I stumbled across the pre MTV video by accident. And laughed my ass off watching it, couldn't believe I'd never seen it. From speakers on the sidelines or press box sixman football rocks these days. And I like it. Most of the time (if it's too loud your too old?). Elvis perverted the whole nation with all that hip shakin.
Will Tippie shake his hips enough for a trophy?

BTW, I love Bob Wills and Merle Hagggard, as well as the blues.

Any football comments?

Everyone will be shakin' hips at this stadium. Richland is gonna be shakin' defenders and at the end, shakin' hands, a gold trophy, and maybe (alcohol free of course) champagne bottles!

To everyone complaining about the 1A championships being relegated to a webcast: what are you doing besides complaining? No offense to Granger, or Leman, or Cowboy - but the 6man world is a mini-echo chamber. Our sport is not talked about very much at all outside of this website and a couple of others like it.

Most of us sit on our backsides and do nothing to spread the message of 6man.

Blame the evil networks for their lack of enlightenment all you want. But the safe bet from their financial perspective is probably to put on replays of past championship games.

Wanna change their minds? Then why isn't the link to the live stream plastered all over facebook? Why isn't twitter aflutter with tweets about the same thing? If, by some chance, 6man fans were to unite and max out FSSW's bandwidth, they might take a second glance at televising our games. But it won't happen as long as we're acting like a bunch of back-row Baptists. This is down to the individual. And by individual I mean you.

I guess by now the tailgate is in full swing, if Smokey didn't forget the chili.
Or, at least a few people are starting to get a little antsy.
Heck I am and I'm not going to be there and I don't normally root for (or against) any of the teams playing.
Well maybe Jonesboro a little sometimes (for).
