Fall of Follett

It pains me to write this but with Darrouzett maintaining a HS football program, they are going to take away one or two players a year from Follett which is definitely going to hurt the Panthers in the long run. Anyone know how the JV and JH teams are doing at Follett?

Call a nearby private school. According to the THSCA, all us private schools know the ins-and-outs of recruiting athletes ... although none of us do it as well as some Texas public school football coaches.

I know. But there are folks (especially in DFW area) who are pretty adept at this game. And I know there's at least one public school former coach that is in Fort Worth this week that did it pretty well at one of his previous jobs.

Follett has the top-of-the-state famous Imo's, a cafe, gift shop and soda bar, a grocery store, hardware and lumber yard, hair salon, museum, used carlot, mortician, telephone service company, VF dept., automotive station, park, swimming pool, and an assortment of oil and farm related businesses... and several huge grain elevators. And a post office of course. Most residents drive to Woodward, Ok for a Wal-mart, takes about 50 minutes, but other than clothes the local businesses supply most all our needs. Adult beverages are a 20 minute drive unless you can ferment at home .

Follett has everything! Hatch, match, and dispatch all in one tiny town... and a heck of an athletic program to boot!

Lot's of women there? Dad told me that when sailing to the Aleutian Islands shipmates told him there was a woman behind every tree. Is there a woman behind every tree around Follett?

I don't recall any players from Darrouzett that Follett would gain. All the players that are there are there anymore not many transfers anymore.
