Moving to be closer with her husband. I believe he works in the oil field around Houston area.
Sounds like you're right.

Baethge leaving Evant
For the past four years, Becky Baethge has been on the sideline for the Evant Lady Elks basketball and volleyball teams.
However, the coach’s tenure will not reach a fifth year.
“I’m going to miss all the girls,” Baethge said. “They are truly great kids.”
In April, Baethge informed the school that she will be relocating to Houston after her husband accepted a job there.
Evant athletic director Phillip Martin echoed the sentiments shared between the faculty and the players.
“(We) hate to lose her,” said Martin.
While her presence on the sidelines will be missed by the community and the players, Baethge leaves a huge pair of shoes to be filled.
As basketball coach for the past four seasons, she guided the Lady Elks to an 82-23 record over that time, including four district championships and a 35-1 mark in league play.
In the 2012-13 season, Baethge’s basketball team won its first 28 games and spent a lengthy stint ranked as the No. 1 team in the state.
While the success on the volleyball court did not mirror that of the basketball program, Baethge still spurred her squad into the playoffs in each of her two seasons as coach.
Over that span, the Lady Elks went 25-33 overall with an 8-6 mark in league play.
After four years and nearly 100 total victories, the Lady Elks must bid farewell and good luck to one of the program’s most successful coaches.
Evant is still accepting applications for a replacement at this time.
