EDITOR'S NOTE - If I seem to be posting at strange hours (or not responding normally) after Saturday, there will be a logical explanation. I am traveling for work to London for 8 days.

You going to stay in Junction or Mason? Don't think London has any hotels........

Bloody Good Old Chap. The website will be in safe hands with Smokey officiating, after all, he is the SENIOR commenter on the site, as OBK's not been posting much.
I know, finals Only.

Was breaking my own rule, so I split this out.

I prefer Grit. One of my best friends actually has a place out by the London to which you all refer, so I know it well.

As for my trip, I am leading a presentation for clients near the Tower of London, where I will stay for a few days. Then I head to Marlow, where we have another office and I get to stay at a B&B on the river for five days.

I have never been to the UK. I lived in Paris for over a month and have traveled Europe, Egypt, Nepal, India, Thailand... but never been to London.

Been really busy trying to keep up with work and helping the wife through breast cancer she discovered on September 1st.

Ouch. Here's hoping it was caught early. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. My mother survived 35 years after a mastectomy.

England swings like a pendulum do, Bobbies on bicycles two by two. Sorry, I had to learn this ditty in the 4th or 5th grade, had forgotten it until your trip. I remember the British Invasion. Have you been to Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, or Abbey Road?

Now is the time. Lehman come forward. Let's take over the site while the Guru is in the asylum in Great Britain for a week! (you're in charge of keeping track of all the scores each week).

Making it through customs is always good... I seem to be pulled to the side more often than not for "random inspections" .. being an American with military looking gear I guess singles me out. I am sure you have the proper European attire though ;)
