div 1 district 8

This district reminds me of the SEC.
Throckmorton is the Alabama
Crowell is the LSU
Knox City is the Georgia

These 3 teams 45ed decent/opponents in week 0.....
Too bad for 2nd place....they get Ira.....who is my clemson

This is by far the toughest district in the state.

All these district games will be very exciting... All of them will be "game of the week" battles... Time will tell

Yes I agree with W'Dog,

This district is STOUT.... We should call this district the BIG BOY DISTRICT.

Throckmorton smashed Petersburg, who went 3 rounds deep last yr.
Knox City put the hammer down on everyone's choice for 2nd place (Paducah) in district 2 this past week
Crowell will smash Spur & Petersburg in a couple of weeks as well.

I think District 2 went from being one of the toughest to average this year.
Graduation hurt this district.

Now of course, we know Valley would beat Knox City and Crowell.


And yes, the 2nd place finisher between Knox City & Crowell will be eliminated in bi-district when they face IRA

What impresses me more than the 45's is two of these games were shutouts.

District games will be interesting!!

Ira!! I bet the Wildcats WANT to play Ira again this year. Last years game was one of the best sixman football games I have attended. Should be a good one if it happens!!
