Great Job PD!
What happened with the Orange game, solid thumping. It obviously wasn't difficult containing #25, and I thought he was all that.
Okay, I had to use my fingers, but it would take Brenham winning next week and against Bellville and Living beating Orange to put the District in a 3 way tie for second.
Can I start a prayer thread for something like this?

Sorry.. they're 2-1 (LS)...

The young man from Orange Community (#25) is a very talented young man. Anytime you can score 11 tds (in one game) and 13 tds (in one game), I FOR ONE WILL ALWAYS TAKE NOTICE OF THAT.

It was one of those nights where EVERYTHING went right for Pine Drive.
We emphasized in practice all week long : TO STOP HAVING THE BAD QTR'S.. WE'VE HAD A BAD QTR IN EVERY GAME WE'VE PLAYED.
THIS NIGHT WE STAYED FOCUSED FROM THE OPENING KICKOFF THROUGHOUT.

Our kids have really worked hard. A lot of them have put in NUMEROUS hours in the weight room, running the mile(s) with 20lb weight vests, tossing tractor tires ... ALL DURING THE SUMMER (June, July, August)..

It has paid off, the kids have seen the reward..
NOW IF I CAN GET THE SLACKERS ON THE TEAM TO SEE HOW THIS WORKS, MAYBE THEY'LL BE IN THE WEIGHT ROOM THIS SUMMER AS WELL - OR - They'll be standing on the sidelines again come 2012 season.

There is a good possibility of a 3 way tie at 3-2...
I, personally, do not know the District 4 Tie-Breaker-System... Maybe Coach Tarbutton can post it on here so everyone knows of it.

Maybe those schools (Living Stones, Orange Community, Brenham Chr.) should all be asking questions concerning a 3-way tie.

I'm gonna pull a lifegate sports moment here....
I do recall back in 2006, Pine Drive had to beat a ONE LOSS The Woodlands Christian Team AND HOLD THEM TO 32 POINTS OR UNDER (which was a feat in itself).
Pine Drive somehow, beat The Woodlands Christian School 38-32.
With that win, that placed PD in 3rd place instead of 4th place.
3rd place we traveled to Abilene Christian, Won that Bi-District Game, then had a re-match with our district champion Lake Jackson Brazosport who throttled PD 75-22 during their district game.
In the RE-MATCH, PD upset Brazosport 7-6 and advanced to the stat semi-finals.

A 4th place would've sent PD to Bulverde Bracken, who PD had beaten earlier that year 40-39. I SURE DIDN'T WANT TO SEE BRACKEN AGAIN THAT YEAR, LOL ....
Tomball Rosehill, who beat PD that year, but because of the tie breaker system, finished 4th and traveled to Bulverde Bracken and lost.

Just to sum it all up....
I'M SURE GLAD WE (PD) TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS AND THIS POSSIBLE 3-WAY TIE DOES'NT AFFECT US....

That Brenham Christian vs. Living Stones game is gonna be REAL GOOD, with #7 playing for Brenham now....
