I just wanted to let everyone in TCAF Division 2 that has a game scheduled with Hope know that we did indeed play our game with them this last Friday night. They played only the players that were listed on the roster and they did play well. They were very well coached, very well mannered and played like godly men. I would not hesitate to recommend that you go ahead and keep your game with them. I do warn you thought that everyone game to them is their championship game and they are playing to prove that they can play with anyone. Even though we got up on them from the beginning and at one point had a three td lead, they never quit. Their Coach Doug sessums number is 817-657-4117.

Thanks for the report. Just so everyone is "in the know," Decatur Hope closed its school a couple weeks ago and will complete its season with the players on their roster at that time (including home school kids).

Coach Miles or someone in TCAF can confirm if they remain eligible for district/post-season play or honors.

It would be my understanding they are not eligible for post season play. TCAF does allow homeschoolers but teams may not be more than 25% homeschool. It is saddening to see another small private school close its doors. I know the boys have worked hard this season and I am sorry your season was hurt by this.
