You could go with the Meadow Broncos or the Benjamin, Sands, or Wilson Mustangs. But none made the playoff's.
How about Richland Springs? Granger says Calvert by 15.
 
I reject the term "dark horse" as racist. Why should a dark horse have any less of a chance than a white horse?

Division I dark horses: Anyone still in the playoffs in Regions 1, 3, and 4.

Division II: Maybe Strawn. Maybe RS. This is Follett's division, and I don't see anyone sneaking up on them.
 
The real darkhorses to make it to the Championship game are:

D1 Savoy and Fannindale

D2 Amherst and New Home....both have to get by Follett to get there...

I don't think anyone in the West has enough of a shot against Follett to be considered a darkhorse. Well - maybe GF-R. But the only folks with realistic shot at beating Follett - barring some horrific freak accident - would be someone with some big game experience. RS and Strawn are about the only ones with that experience.
