Crowell v Happy

Wish I could make this game. It will be part of the formula for figuring out who the top team in the West is at this time.

Here is one good old-school formula:

O + D + C + T + HtoH = 1cubed (:

Coach, I just thought I had too much time on my hands............ We need to get you a coaching slot before you get as bonkers as the rest of us..........

You are 100 per cent right on, SmokeyJoe.
I looked everywhere, called every sixman school within driving distance. Was talking seriously to one school an hour away, but they seemed to have more than enough help, and I am not a fifth-wheel at my age. Was nothing available close. And if I was going to live alone should have stayed Top of Texas. We actually talked about the boys staying with me there but splitting the family for me a job smacked of screwed up priorities.
Even so, I do wish I was coaching my boys in Follett, esp. on Thursday and Fridays. But they are in excellent hands with Coach Rainer and Coach Woods. There is a great chance I will get to see them at the state championship if they keep progressing. That first debacle was just a transition game, happens to the best.

The formula is good though. (:

Happy 37
Crowell 22 Final score.

Extremely strong defensive effort from both teams tonight.
Looking ahead, not always a great idea..........I'd love to see a rematch between these two teams with both of them at 100%. With their starting QB out due to injury, Crowell was really limited on offense. Clark is a heckuva running back, but he is not a passer by any means.
Gotta hand it to both teams........they played their hearts out and are a credit to their communities.

Looking forward now to Crowell and Calvert. Neither team will have their starting QB. Calvert's was flagged for Targeting late in the first quarter and removed from the game. Talking to him in the stands he says he has to sit out four quarters so will miss the first quarter of the game with Crowell.

#7 will be able to play the full game come next Saturday in May vs Crowell. According to UIL rules, the player must sit out the remaining of the game that he is ejected from. This is not rolled over into the following game.
