Congratulations on State Rushing Record!

Before the year is gone, this season is completely history, I think this accomplishment should receive acknowledgment here if nowhere else. I didn't play six man, just a fan of the game.

But I'd like to Congratulate Jake Richards, his Blockers especially as I was one in 11 man, and of course even more especially his Coaches on setting the overall Texas High School Record for rushing yards in a season. Certainly a Team effort, never before achieved by anyone.

Not Jack Pardee, TE or Kenneth Hall.

I encourage others to congratulate and acknowledge this feat, without distracting comment.

It was Hall, in 1953. Before even I was born. The record stood 66 years and still does in 11 man only.
