Coach Clawson was such an amazing coach. That 5-1 defense is one of the greatest innovations to the 6man game. It seems so easy but it is actually very difficult to master. I honestly don’t think many coaches today are knowledgeable enough to run it. Also look at a few games leading up to that state title game and you will know how to put the perfect amount of pressure on a spreadback.
 
Wrong. Fort Hancock lost because Vicente "Cheetah" Ramirez had a pulled hamstring and could barely walk. That's it
