You try really hard to upgrade your schedule. You schedule tougher teams and even agree to travel 2 1/2 hours to meet in a neutral location. Then the week before the game the PUBLIC school team calls and cancels stating that we are too talented and too physical!!!!!!!! So, now we are looking for a Week 3 game. If anyone out there is looking we are in desperate need. Azle Christian School is a talented, physical team? We have no one over 200 pounds. Against Bryson we had 2 memorable hits!!!! One was on a fumble recovery where the ball carrier was two yards away and the block was to prevent the player from making the tackle and the other was two yards from the end zone. Both blocks were above the waist and shoulder pad to shoulder pad on the biggest kid on the field for Bryson. SMH!
