Bynum vs Walnut Springs.

would be nice to see bynum in the playoff hunt this year but if it dont happen this year they will be in there next season....what does everyone else think about the bynum turn around think they will be in play off next season.....

They could make the playoffs but they have to beat Abbott or Aquilla. If they dont beat either hopefully they keep it close. They do have 6 juniors this year so next years team should be good also.

I have to say that last nights game in Coolidge was an eye opener for the rest of district. Bynum put Coolidge in their place and dominated pretty much the entire game. Hard hitting and smash mouth football. Bynum will be a big boat oar stirring the s*** pot in D1-14. Don't look too far past these boys cuz each week they are getting better

Bynum is improving, and as I've said before, they if you underestimate them they will win.
I'm not sure if they can make playoffs this year, but they do have a shot. IMO, they will probably
Win district next year.

Mineral Wells-Crazy water
Richland Springs-Winning water
Walnut Springs-________ water

How many other springs we got in Texas 6man?

theres apple springs....im from hill county but been living in lufkin for the past 2 and a half years....going to go watch them play when they district games start up.....only school with in driving distance for me to get any kind of six man action.....unless its playoffs and if im lucky enough theres games going on in this area

even as a joke, that seems desperate. Kinda like "boys basketball, isnt that what they play when they arent good enough for girls basketball" or "MAC football, isnt that what they play when they arent good enough for the B1G". Not the best analogies, but I can't think of something appropriate to fit. As I read the post, my mind was immediately thinking, "right....like Michael Vick, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Jonathan Gray, Bryson Echols and many, many more wouldn't absolutely dominate a sixman team by themselves"

There was nothing desperate about my comment. I am just a die-hard sixman fan that is bored by 11-man.
Could the players you mentioned dominate sixman? Possibly, but would they have the endurance to play every down - both sides of the ball? Sixman requires a level of endurance that few 11-man players can handle.

i really enjoy sixman football. it's wonderful!

however, to reply to the above post

"Sixman requires a level of endurance that few 11-man players can handle."

In the 100-120 sixman games I've watched over the past 9 years, very few 6-man players can handle it either. it is borderline folly to believe that 6man players have cornered the market on endurance. a better statement might include small school players or most 11-man players pre 1985ish when two-platoon became increasingly popular

i have nothing but the utmost respect for the young men who battle for their schools in sixman football, but don't sell the other kids short because of where their parents chose to live and thus, send them to school

last season i got off eary and took my wife to her first 6man football game when bynum played and lost by 24 i think. and she said bynum got whooped. i told her 24 points is a close six man team....she just dont know bless her heart lol

Might just be a chic thang.
I'm on the road to home
on most Fri. nights
so I call wifey-poo for a score.
She says she doesn't know.
She's there
at the game
in the stands
and she says she doesn't know?
If
I ask her who she's sitting by and how are they doing
she'll talk till my battery goes dead.

Go figure.

Sounds familiar. It's either a chic thing or our wives are related.

Perhaps it's a Twilight Zone
kinda thang
and they're actually the same person?
Oooooooo...

(my team still rules)
That ain't possible. Even the twilight zone couldn't create a woman that could put up with both of us. :)
