Bracken head football coach

I heard Bracken Christian lost their head football coach, coach Fields. Curious to see if its true and what becomes of the team. And who's gets the open spot???

I saw that the job at Bracken posted yesterday as well. Interesting this close to the start of the season. I guess Coach Fields decided to retire? He did a great job for Bracken while he was there. Tough shoes to fill especially this late in the summer.

Yep I guess it is true and my guess something happened with it being this close to the season.
I would have thought an assistant coach or at least the middle school coach would be moved up?
Took a bit of looking, I think he was 65-9 over 6 years and 2010 state champions not bad, pretty hard to fill those shoe!

I guess Coach Fields had a change in plans and is coming back for at least one more season.
