position: Coaching/Teaching Assignments
Borden County ISD is traditionally a dominating force athletically and academically.
Borden County ISD is an active, family-oriented, class 1A school community located
about 70 miles south of Lubbock, Texas. More information regarding the district may be

Responsibilities – To include, but not limited to:
Work as a member of the Borden County ISD School team to ensure the
purposeful implementation of student success both academically and athletically.
Borden County strives to produce a student/athlete that will be successful,
disciplined, team-oriented, and an overall good human.
Be student centered, creative with instruction, and know how to plan and
implement effective hands-on lessons.
Work with students at varying skill levels and challenging them all.
Willingness to coach several sports and teach classes where needed.
Take on extra duties: helping with UIL competitions, tutoring, class and/or other
duties as assigned.
Certification- Texas teaching certification- Master’s preferred but not required.
Salary – Competitive pay, teacher housing, and bills paid.
