Position Title: Teaching Field Open/ Coach
Location: May ISD
Salary Range: Based on Local Salary Schedule
Length of Work Year: Ten month/ 187 Days/ +10 days coaching
Position Summary: Full-time teaching position responsible for instruction depending on certification
Position Requirements:
Education/Certification:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate.
Experience:
Similar experience in a comparable position is preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to successfully communicate with all students and parents.
Strong ability to be able to successfully communicate Texas curriculum to students of all ability levels.
Strong ability to be able to help students to be successful on the Texas state assessments in the teaching field, and thus to be college and career ready.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Other certifications will be beneficial.
