BLUFF DALE

From what I understand because of the " Robin Hood" plan they had to give a lot of their funding over to the state. So to keep that money they started a high school. It was that or close down.

Article in the Granbury newspaper mentioned that Bluff Dale needed to pick up 40 students to start meeting the necessary numbers to make the high school viable. Bluff Dale has a new high end housing subdivision developed in the district which has kicked up their tax receipts in addition to the various companies operating In the area. Tolar and Stephenville has been serving the high school students from their district. Interestingly enough, Morgan Mill, which is only about 10 miles west of Bluff Dale could easily do the same thing and their enrollment is already higher, around 124. Nice to see the small districts doing good.

We are running a JV schedule this year, then move to a Varsity schedule next year. We are offering 9-11th grade this year and adding 12th next year.
