Armed Teachers

There used to be a topic like this when Harrold announced arming several teachers back in 2007. Now it looks like at least 78 school districts in Texas have followed suit.

Which one would you think your kids are safer in?????

The first teacher at my kids' school with his CCL and permission from the school to carry is the minister who teaches Bible. I thought that was a pretty good statement. (Several more have followed suit)

I totally agree with the teachers carrying guns. In a big city like Ft Worth going into a high school makes you want a gun. During a visit to my kids high school years ago I got there when the bell rung (bad timing). I was met by a police officer asking what I was doing on campus. I told him my reason and he was going to lead me directly to the principals office. But before we got there the bell rang and you wouldn't believe the language of the kids switching class. I slid behind one of the doors of an empty class. The policeman saw fear and stood there with me. This is sad to walk into a school and see plus hear our kids. It was crazy.

That looks like the out line of a Berretta 9mm service pistol. Does that sign mean "no crappy guns allowed?"

Nah!!

It means "Guns scare me! If I ban them from my sight, then no one will bring one in!"

Based upon the magical thinking that a criminal will obey the law......

Love it!! That would make most libs heads explode.

They refuse to recognize that being a peace loving Christian does not mean you will not defend yourself.....

Again magical thinking.
