Aquilla ISD is taking applications for a head football coach and Athletic Director. It is a great community that wants to be successful. The kids are some of the best kids in the state and want to win and are willing to work for it. There are 6 guys coming back with starting experience and a good group of about 10 8th graders coming up. With a passionate and enthusiastic coach this group could be very successful. Teachers are great to work with and so is the Administration. Administration will let you do your job and support you. Aquilla is a great place and premier spot to be. The reason I am leaving is strictly a family decision. I have a kid on the way and would like my wife and soon to be daughter to be closer to family.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Direct and manage district's athletic program and instruct and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in athletics. Provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all federal, state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree
*Valid Texas teaching certificate
*Current automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate
*Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred
COMPENSATION
11 month contract + 2000 above base or 3000 for masters +coaching stipend + AD stipend
