bill glad to see dad congratulate his son! good luck for the future!!

Im glad to have the opportunity.
I have 6 Children that I love dearly and to be quite honest they are the ONLY reason I started following sports on a local level.
It has been my priveledge to be this young mans Father. To see him come into this world, to watch him play football through pee wee, jr high and high school and to be honored for his hard work is something I never knew as a participant in crowded field ball.
I know (and cant say that I blame him) that he is VERY proud of this accomplishment (ALMOST as proud as Dear Old Dad). And I'm looking forward to my 3 other boys following the same path (and if they don't, I'll still be just as proud)..

Our story is almost the same song different verse
i was blessed by God to have the opportunity to raise 2 children. my daughter graduated in 2011 and is attending nursing school (so proud of the young lady she grown to be). my son will graduate in 2013. i was privileged to have been present to see them both draw their first breath on this earth,, my son was born with a birth defect that affected both of his legs when he was a sixth grader the Pedi orthopedist evaluated him when he placed his knees together his feet were 11 inches apart so he had eight plates placed in his legs to help correct the deformity then the surgery to remove them in august and still play his 7th grade year as well... he played on our jr. high team as a sixth grader because we didn’t have enough kids to play without adding sixth graders to the team.
I was told by many to move him, he didn’t much fit the sixman football establishment 6’2 290lb,, and I could have but this is where we live. I just told him he was going to have to work harder and he did and accomplished more than I ever did on the crowded field I am happy for him receiving the d1 all state center and being invited to play on the Can Am Bowl
I look out on the fields of little towns, old heart jumps a bit with the thought I need to thank God for the opportunity to see these young men compete.
I wish you and your kids great success in life!
