Abilene High Vs. Florida Plants

Anyone watch this game on ESPN last night? I thought Plants would destroy the Eagles in the second half due to the size and strength of their running back. But I was wrong. Wound up being one heck of a ball game.

I watched it till mid 3 rd quarter then crashed--how did it turn out

abilene is one hell of a ball club!! i look for them to repeat!!! also would like to see them and euless trinity play, that would make the game of the year if not the game of the decade!!

And Abilene was playing with their ESPN Top 150 stud injured, as well as a couple of other kids out, I believe.

On paper, AHS was completely outmatched talent-wise - and their defensive line was outweighed by 50 pounds per man. Yet, it was the Florida kids dropping like flies.

Oddly enough, the Florida team was having an awful time with cramps. A team from a swamp cramps up in West Texas.

It was just too dry for them. Let's see how the return match goes next year in Florida......
