Decimate is the most poorly used word in the English language. It really means reduce by 1/10. It comes from Latin and was created by the old Roman legions. A unit of a legion that displayed cowardice or poor performance in battle would be subject to decimation, where it would line up and every tenth man would be killed.

Throck did not decimate WV, they crushed them.

Oh great, now OBK is in on the fun. Look I get it, how many ways can you say they got beat? I mean, really, you're not breaking any new ground here. You say eviscerated, I say nail-biter. You say crushed, I say close call. You say annihilated, I say... well, you may have a point there. In the end T-Rock moved on and the WV went home. What more can you say? I still think it is a good article - even with the judgemental and hurtful word in there.
