84-4 and 73-0? Ropes girls crush Harmony

Pete at KCBD will be doing a story tonight on the Lubbock Harmony girls who were defeated 73-0 and 84-4 in two district games vs. Ropes this season
 
come on coach you got to pull back the reins a little bit look at lubbock estacado they way better than thier district foes but once they get a big lead they pull thier starters.

Too bad Ropes couldn't get it to 100-0. From what happened in Dallas a couple years ago, the "0" school got all sorts of publicity and even were promised (but I think didn't accept) trips to the NBA All Star Game.

And sometimes, the problem with small schools is there AREN'T enough subs for a second team ...
 
Way back in the 70's..I played on a Salvation Army basketball
team,in Dallas,,we played a team from "sunny" south Dallas,
Never will i forget,the full court press this team put
on us in the 4th quarter with the score,,,something like
100-8...Our Coach [My Dad] called a timeout with a
few minutes to play and told our player who was to
inbound the ball,,,to rare back and throw the basketball
as hard as he could into the kid's privates,,,who was still not
letting us even get the ball in play,,,Never,Never,will i forget!!
They may have won on the scoreboard,,But we had the
last laugh....
