Texas Christian Athletic League has on its Facebook page that the Division I title will be on Saturday, November 16 at 3 p.m., followed by the Division II at 6 p.m. Previously it has been at Houston Christian University, but I do not see the site located on that post from two days ago.

Got both of those updated. I just left the TCAL games location as TBD until there's clarification as to where they'll be played.

I feel like I can confidently pick 7 of the 8 first round winners in Regions 3 and 4 (East) but wow it appears there is about to be some battles in Regions 1&2 (West). Seems like it is always this way. Whoever comes out of the West should be nice and worn down for Gordon. Anyone else see it the same way? Seriously would like to hear other’s thoughts.

i agree, other than the fact that u are "Assuming" that Gordon is coming out of the East Bracket. anything can happen, yes i believe they are going to, but im not gonna assume anything

From my understanding, Calvert forfeited their playoff spot and the district decided not to certify another team. The reason for that is outside my need-to-know so I didn't go prodding for more info. All I needed to know was what I should add to my bracket and best I could tell, that would be a BYE for Richland Springs.

I don't know the details. I just know that's what happened, and the other two teams in the district couldn't field a team for the playoff game either, so they had to also forfeit the playoff spot.

That's correct. From what I understand, the district just decided to not certify a #2 seed.
