Rec'd an email from THESA AD confirming that TIOGA was forfeited at half "citing that the TASO ref crew was cheating them and that their players were gonna get hurt".

Sounds like a forfeit to me.

Did the same sort of thing to us a couple of seasons ago...Didn't like how our girls basketball team beat up on them, and cancelled our home and away matchup for the following season... Way to teach the boys to play through adversity!!! I am sure that the $$$ Dallas and his boys at THESA paid the refs went a long way in influencing them... Any calls for a new Tioga mascot....maybe the snowflakes??? But only for the coaching staff..their boys are tough...

Why would Tioga forfeit?

The Tioga/FW THESA score was at halftime. Tioga left the game at half and did not report for the 3rd Quarter. As they left they stated issues with the officiating.

Wow, stay classy Tioga. Lead by example, good job coaches....pick up your toys and go home when you don't like something.
