That's a great question. At various points of putting this team together I have had a combined total of 21 kids nominated, etc only to have 8 of them back out for various reasons.

I wish I could nominate some kids cause it is well deserved. Next year will be different, I will be at the school and hopefully have some players for you

Kids are getting to be so lazy now that they don't want to do the conditioning to get ready for an early summer game.

Its not just six-man. When I was President of the Texas Private School Coaches Association, we held an all-star game at our annual convention and it was very hard to find kids to play in that. Times have changed and we have to adjust to it.

The schools who have kids that put the work in during the off-season are the teams that succeed in the fall. If the leadership can not encourage them to do the work, then they are not leading very well. Can't put this on the kids.

Couple questions is this game for graduated seniors or seniors to be? Also is it limited to UIL 6 man or can a private school kid play?

The game is for 2015 grads, so graduated seniors. The game is public school vs private school. I am looking for a couple more private school players for my team.
