Man I knew Region II was tough but seeing your picks down in black and white like that brings it home. Talk about having to run the gauntlet just to get at Valley (or one of those others).

I second what WV Backer said. D-I Region 2 is loaded. It's been that way for the last few years, though. It's even more pronounced when Region 1 is having down year, comparatively.

Nice to see Crowell stepping up and filling the hole left by BC, who seems to be having an unusually tough go of it this year. It'll be interesting to see how the kitty-kats perform under playoff pressure if they manage to make a deep run this season.

backing into the winners from region 2... crowell vs trock round 2 hmmm I see trock responding from early loss and winning.

ira should win their district easy enough and I feel they have the best chance to come into the playoffs healthy and hungry especially as it seems most think trock or crowell will handle them easy ,hmm be careful for what you wish for especially if the trock crowell game is very physical..
wv should win easily as well and should be fresh for whom ever they meet im sure they will be picked by a large margin but gc wv and rankin have been down this road before

rankin vs gc should be a good game but playing in gc is going to be tough... gc has played a tougher schedule and they have had a chip on their shoulder about being picked low and they have performed well.. rankin is having to replace the bulk of its team and 3 of the 4 all state players from last year and learn a brand new system with a new head coach but the return a few hurt kids and some transfers might help a lot and by week ten they will have played the system in most situations..
