One is good. The other one was good. I'll take the one that is still eligible. He's good in football and basketball. They were both enjoyable to watch.
Please do not add more teams to the playoffs. There are enough teams 45"d during the regular season. In 3A, 11 man football, in bi-district Wall ISD plays Tornillo. Tornillo has an 0-10 record. I would be embarrassed for an 0-10 team to make the playoffs. Forget giving every kid a trophy.

This would lead to more schools being embarrassed in their first round games. Watch what happens this year in the first rounds of higher classification schools that carry too many teams into the playoffs. They don't have the 45 point rule, but should.
No dog in this argument, but it is obvious that a team with the winning tradition that RS has keeps teams from scheduling them during the preseason games. Many coaches are only concerned with their won/loss record than improving their teams ability to perform against the better teams. People...
You hate to see situations like this occur in six-man schools, but it does occur. Thank goodness for DEC superintendents who do the right thing rather than be non-commital and afraid and thinking they are the bad guys for standing up for what is right.
I hate to say it, but "the sky is not falling!" What is done, is done. Apparently RS has some good coaches that will do their jobs and RS will continue to play and have success. Everyone is replaceable, even the so-called great ones. Sixman football will continue regardless who is at the helm of...
We have all been raised by rules and know right from wrong. Looks like after many years of hearing this scenario being played out year after year, finally someone said enough is enough. A coach stood up for what was right and a group of administrators followed the rules given to everyone in the...
Spent many a day at Matagorda when I was a kid on the beach and waterways crabbing, fishing, and surfing. Always a good time there. Hope I can find a school cap or t-shirt with the stingray. Good luck to those kids.
