I've seen several games this year were eligible receivers are blocking down field like its a run but then stop blocking (sometime pushing-off) and catching passes or start running a route to catch a pass.

Assuming both Newcastle and Perrin wins this week, then the district will go old school. They will meet Saturday to flip a coin over which 2 interpretations of the rule to go with. (Leman's option B or C.)

The issue is how the tie-breaker rule are written for the Newcastle-Knox City-Perrin district.
Basically the rules list both sernerois in their rules. It states if there is a 3-way tie, all 3 teams will be district tri-champs. The 1st place and runner-up to be determined by point differential...
D1 District 6 could be wrapped up tonight if Knox City wins over Perrin. They are picked by 15.
If Perrin pulls out the upset, then Knox City, Newcastle and Perrin each will have 1 loss in district.
In the past, there was a 1A-11 man division (would be small 2As now). 2005-06 school year was the last year with no division split (no Division 1 or 2). I coach in the state championship game for 1A-11 man (we lost by 1 point). Then UIL split 1A-11man into divisions 1 and 2 until the 2013-14...
Years ago, I coach 2 set of twins at a 1A school but we played 11 man football. One was Identical but the other was fraternal. We also had another set of identical twins in school at the time (3 sets of twins total) but they only played basketball.
