Prayers to all involved, the family, the school, and the community. As an old coach, I've had to go through this way too many times, losing students to tragic events. Again prays for all involve, may the Lord comfort you in the trying times.

The issue is how the tie-breaker rule are written for the Newcastle-Knox City-Perrin district. Basically the rules list both sernerois in their rules. It states if there is a 3-way tie, all 3 teams will be district tri-champs. The 1st place and runner-up to be determined by point differential...

Congrats to Perrin for beating Knox City tonight. Throws that district into a 3 way tie.

D1 District 6 could be wrapped up tonight if Knox City wins over Perrin. They are picked by 15. If Perrin pulls out the upset, then Knox City, Newcastle and Perrin each will have 1 loss in district.

In the past, there was a 1A-11 man division (would be small 2As now). 2005-06 school year was the last year with no division split (no Division 1 or 2). I coach in the state championship game for 1A-11 man (we lost by 1 point). Then UIL split 1A-11man into divisions 1 and 2 until the 2013-14...

Years ago, I coach 2 set of twins at a 1A school but we played 11 man football. One was Identical but the other was fraternal. We also had another set of identical twins in school at the time (3 sets of twins total) but they only played basketball.

The Priddy field is nice and I like the area. When they get stands, pressbox, restroom etc..., it will be a great place to have games. Here is a pic of Leakey vs Perrin game played there this year.
